Two Brothers, One Vision
Behind the brand Omana Handpans are the brothers Roman and Anton. Their journey began in 2008, when they first heard the magical sounds of a handpan – a moment that sparked both their musical and craftsmanship passion.
A few years later, they decided to build their own instruments, carrying this unique magic in every note. In 2013, they founded their family workshop in Barvenkovo, Ukraine, and began turning their vision of a handpan with a distinctive character into reality.
Handmade Perfection with Soul
Each Omana handpan is crafted with precision and care. From the very beginning, the brothers experimented with different steel types, heat treatments, and construction techniques – always striving for a warm, clear, and dynamic sound.
Their work is based on experience, patience, and a keen musical sensitivity. This led to the creation of the typical Omana sound: a rich, sustaining tone with a full overtone spectrum – powerful, yet delicately nuanced.
Dragon Skin – Sound and Character Perfected
Omana gained worldwide recognition especially through the introduction of the “Dragon Skin” surface finish. This special treatment not only gives the instruments their distinctive appearance but also ensures exceptional tonal stability and durability.
Musicians around the world value Omana handpans for their unique timbre, precise tuning, and the emotional expressiveness they allow.
